PRZEMYSŁAW GASZYŃSKI / SKILLS4ATHLETES

Physical preparation that expands what athletes can do in sport.

I help athletes develop strength, power, speed and resilience to load—while accounting for who they are, what their sport demands and the conditions in which they compete.
I also work with coaches and performance staff, supporting training design, data interpretation, and the creation of environments in which athletes can learn and adapt.

APPROACH

Training should prepare athletes to perform.

A better test result may mean that an athlete has increased their potential. The next question is: what can they do with it in their sport—react faster, accelerate more effectively, maintain quality under time pressure, and tolerate load better?

I do not assume that developing a single quality automatically transfers to competition. I examine the problem we are trying to solve, the constraints shaping the athlete’s behaviour, and the evidence that training is producing a useful change.

COLLABORATION

Different roles. One goal: better performance.

The athlete, the demands of the sport, and the real problem to solve always come first.

AREAS OF PRACTICE

From physical potential to functional performance.

A method is a tool. First, we need to understand the athlete, the task and the environment in which change must occur.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

Physical preparation

Strength, speed, power, endurance and load tolerance developed in relation to the real demands of the sport.

SKILL ACQUISITION

Skill acquisition

Learning driven by information, decisions and tasks that preserve the key relationships present in the game.

TRAINING DESIGN

Process design

Measurement, interpretation and the selection of interventions that support adaptation instead of creating an illusion of control.

EXPERIENCE

Practice changes how you see the problem.

Przemysław Gaszyński podczas pracy trenerskiej

My name is Przemysław Gaszyński. I have worked with individual athletes, academies, professional clubs and national teams. I have also delivered lectures and workshops for coaches in Poland and abroad.

Every environment imposes different constraints. That is why I do not transfer ready-made answers from one place to another. I build the process around the problem, the people and the conditions that actually exist.

INSIGHTS

Questions worth bringing into training.

I write about physical preparation, learning, coaching and data. I combine practice with a critical analysis of research. I publish in Polish and English.

On context as the missing link in analysis—and why a result should start a conversation, not end it.
